cambodia vision

Cambodia Vision is a non-profit organisation founded in Sydney in 2005. The organisation aims to treat the illnesses of those in rural Cambodia who cannot afford medical treatment, focusing on sight, hearing and speech related diseases.

Each year, Cambodia Vision conducts a week-long mission to a small province in Cambodia. 100% of funds raised is directed towards medical equipment, medication and surgical supplies. Volunteers, doctors and surgeons all fund their airfares, accommodation and food on their own, ensuring administration costs are kept at zero. The mission treats over 4,000 patients annually, as people travel from surrounding provinces and even across Cambodia for treatment.

Richard Lim was named the President of Cambodia Vision’s Victoria Branch in 2013, and since then Lim’s Pharmacy has been raising funds and hosting annual galas for the organisation. Our gala nights see over 700 guests and we raise an average of $85,000 for Cambodia Vision annually, with our highest being $140,000 in 2018.

A $5 donation will give one person prescription glasses, and a $50 donation will allow one person to receive medical tests and have catarct surgery.
